According to a multi-million-dollar project, the largest of its kind, claims were made that organic food and really are healthier than non-organic food standards are most effective in preventing heart disease and cancer. They claim that organic fruit and veg contain higher levels of zinc and iron, which commonly are deprived of many people's diets.
Research has also shown that there is up to 40% more nutrients when products are grown organically in contrast with conventional methods. However, if all the difference between organic and non organic produce is the percentage of nutrients and vitamins, then surely eat a bit more organic products will not appear in the levels of nutrients for maybe cheaper?
