Remember, your handkerchiefs? 7 reasons to carry a

Marilyn Monroe with a handkerchief

Is the symbol of old-timey movie: "here, take my handkerchief".  AW. Yes, people really did carry folded pieces of cloth around for dabbing dewy eyes or turn off the cold, for centuries. (Heck, probably even millennia.) They were also passed down from generations — after all, what could be more intimate than Grandma's handkerchief?

But, by the mid-1920s, trademark of Kimberly-Clark Kleenex post World War was building momentum with its disposable tissues, virtually wiping out the handkerchief reusable. They even insinuated that wearing a cloth handkerchief was similar to "carrying a cold in your Pocket! Now, the brand is so symbolic of the product, which we call virtually any veline "Kleenex" even if it is made by another manufacturer. And while we may have fond memories of those soft tissues comforting us through pain, cold and flu season and scenes from the film old timey sentimental, seeing how damaging are the products on the environment will give you more reasons to DAB his eyes. Fortunately, the handkerchief reusable is making a comeback for a lot of valid reasons. Here are seven.

1. PeopleTowels According (producers of environmentally friendly reusable towels hand/face), to make a ton of products of paper towel/tissue requires killing 17 trees.

2. the same tonne of paper tissues will use 20,000 litres of fresh water in processing!

3. every day, only in the United States, more than 3,000 tons of tissue paper products are sent landfills to produce methane gas, which is an important contribution to climate change.

4. Paper occupy more space in landfills than any other element of junk.

5. you are always covered when you run your own tissue rather than hunting for a fabric or use the toilet paper to blow your nose. No other dripping panic!

6. you can reduce the risk of spreading germs having a handkerchief handy rather than use your hands.

7. regularly Using a handkerchief/reusable hand towel/whatever-you-call-it, remind people that can do too much, thereby spreading the message that early facial tissue paper products are about as necessary as plastic bags.
